I think Tangled is pretty underrated, specially after Frozen.(It became "that movie that came before frozen")

Off topic: I really don't get all the fuss about frozen tbh! My GF and i watched(she watches all the disney animation) and she was like "this is boring".

I don't know how to explain properly but Tangled feels like a "for all ages" animation like Shrek while Frozen feels like "for 14yo pewdiepie fans" animation like barbie franchise.(no offense for those who like, i just don't know how to explain)

Well one thing about Disney animated movies the voice cast and songs (if there are any) are always top notch.  That applies to the original voice cast and songs not sure if they voice cast and songs always top notch in foreign markets.

Rescuers Down Under... it's set in Australia, mate.

Hmm, pie.

Whisper of the Heart from Studio Ghibli. One of their kinda forgotten films, despite it being one of their best.

Somebody already mentioned Iron Giant, but it definitely deserves more recognition.

From Disney I'd say The Great Mouse Detective. It gets somewhat overlooked because Disney would soon follow the it with The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and the rest of the Disney Renaissance.

Haha, this movie is so damn good! I remember seeing this movie for the first time when I was 7, and I was amazed at it. It's the movie between The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast that got no recognition.

Meet The Robinsons!!!! This deserves More Love!!!!! The message at the end was Wonderful!

Well we recognise it. :) For it's time there are some amazing CG effects in it. Made in 1990 and the CG truck parts and opening panning shot are as good now as ever.

Hmm, pie.

Actually underrated:

The black cauldron from Disney. I wish they would do more dark movies, loved it.
Fire and Ice. Great fantasy movie from the 80's.
Steamboy. Stunning animation from the maker of Akira, expectations were simply too high.
Metropolis. Another underrated anime that has stuck with me over the years.
Fantastic planet. Unique animated movie. (not as underrated, still got the special jury prize)

I saw Grave of the fireflies in here, actually Barefoot Gen is a much more raw description of nuclear war, a truly haunting movie.

The great Mouse detective deserves a lot more attention than it gets. It's everything you need in a mystery/suspense movie for kids.
Also Ponyo(from Studio Ghibli) is a great movie that always gets overlooked.
