99% of the movies I'm reading here were hugely successful and profitable, haha.

Song of the Sea is a good recent one. Gorgeous movie, but people who only follow Disney and Dreamworks and such aren't likely to see it.

I love Song of the Sea!   I have a framed poster of it up in my dorm room right now.

You know what else is forgotten? Brave.

People rarely mention it when discussing animated movies. To be honest, that should have done way better in theaters.

Eeehhh...I thought Brave failed to live up to expectations.

I'd also say Kung Fu Panda is pretty underrated.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

The Iron Giant and Neko no Ongaeshi ( The Cat Returns )

Underrated means something that didn't receive the praise or accolades it deserves.

Most of the movies mentioned didn't get tons of accolades when they where released.

Ratatouille is my second favourite Pixar film of all time behind The Incredibles.

The art style and the music of Ratatouille were just beautiful and seeing a film like Frozen that is just decent in my opinion get so much more attention is depressing.

A great film everyone should watch.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

Grave of the Fireflies even though its a 8.5/10 on imdb it should be closer to a 9 and not a lot of people have seen it.

That movie is pure magic and is truly the best execution of that type of anime

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

The people here are like 'tangled is underrated because of frozen' and I'm like seriously!
