Comes down to priority, if this developer had supported Nintendo previously to a good degree they would have been contacted and given one already going by the notion that the rumour is true. So if the developer has never supported them they wouldn't have been high on the agenda when it comes to getting devkits out this is why he highlight key partners, they're not going to have infinite devkits at the start after all, for example if the new device has or is a portable device was on the way for example they'd contact Capcom and Level 5 who develop big sellers like MH and Yokai to get a devkit out to them rather than EA who don't give much support to portables.

Eh, GoNintendo's biggest flaw is that they tend to publish pretty much everything that comes across their desk, or at least they did as of a few years ago. I don't think they ever make stuff up, but I also don't think they're particularly good at fact checking either.

I the NX is on the same level as PS4/X1, I can only imagine what kind of games Nintendo can produce :).

I think the NX will be more powerful than PS4, using AMD instead of PowerPC. That would be great, specially for thirds.

I woldn't worry too much about the NX's 3rd party support at launch. The questions remain regarding the support post-launch. In any case, the NX could potentially get some games since porting from x86 to ARM is not too difficult.
