if a game with this much western market appeal does this bad in a pre christmas sales season i wonder how bad a game like ff15 will sell on xone platform...

Horizon should do ok for a new IP if that's what you implied

Its more about bad marketing and time management/planning than anything else.

Its not the platform, its how poorly a job was done, to help it sell anything.

That and fan bases actually matter.

If you steal away a title where most of its fan base is on another console, chances are sales are going to be bad.

Terrible numbers. Square Enix deserves this!

But not the game itself which seems to be way better than the sales represent.

It doesnt really matter if the game is not good or not, if the main people who would go out and buy it cannot...what are those users supposed to do.... nothing really.....SE have made a fatal error.
