It should be noted that this includes bundles.

Hmm? It is well known to people here that UK includes bundles (at least this is what I would think from users on a side dedicated to sales).

Fallout with a great opening! Tomb Raider with an ok opening.

If physical PC did that much than it + digital must have been pretty damn big, maybe even matched or exceeded the PS4 (retail/not including digital)?

Based on these numbers I predict ~4.2M F4 FW WW(only console versions, only retail, no bundles), and 350k-400k ROTTR FW WW (both skus, includes bundles, no digital)

IGN is reporting that digital sales are prejected to be 1.8 million accross all platforms with the largest chunck, about 1.2 milion being on PC (WW btw).

Retail Shipments have already passed 12 million.

RIP Tomb Raider.

What a terrible situation for those developers. It's not a total flop, but I hope that paycheck was big SE.

If SE does the right thing with the PC and PS4 releases it can still sell good on those platforms. Launch it with all DLC, and if possible a PS4 bundle could sell very well. The PS4's installbase will be well over 40million by the time RotTR launches on PS4.

When it comes to Tomb Raider, at the end of the day

Microsoft thought we were f***ing idiots when they announced it as exclusive

They tried to bamboozle ppl into thinking they needed to buy an xbox to play it

Square thought we were f***ing idiots when they tried to reason it was to grow the franchise

Then after they saw how much they F***ed the franchise, they revealed it was timed exclusive

All in all, gamers once again proved they're aren't brain dead consumers

Maybe ROTR will arrive PS platforms sooner than we think now ^^
Massive debut sales for Fallout 4 only behind FIFA and COD.

It would be interesting if SE included a clause that it could release earlier on PS systems if the sales for the Xbox systems didn't meet expectations.  Possibly only a 6 month window to release along side the PC version?  If they were smart, they would have included it.  Otherwise, people are going to lose interest if it truly is going to take a whole year to release on the PS4.  TR may be dead, again.

Fallout did great.
Cod drop wasn't that much.
TR didn't do as bad as I thought.
Good week overall

A 180K release for TR 2013 to a 50K release for Tomb Raider this year. MASSIVE drop, the reasons why is obvious. SE pretty much fucked this franchise for the long run. probably one of the dumbest deals i seen in the video game industry.

serves SE right for being money whores.

TR didn't do too bad when faced off against Fallout 4. Which was a massive mistake.

However if it released on a week with no competition and still did 50k then it would be straight bad sales.
