They should be sent back to their country, with much more secure transport, obviously. Fix your own country ( With the help of other countries ) rather than bringing your problem to other countries.

And anyways most are ungrateful and do not want to live in any other country apart from those Grade "A" countries such as Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and so on.

I do admit though that watching the rest of Europe suffer is quite enjoyable. Karma is lovely .

As a german i'm actually fine with refugees in the first place.

But there's a whole bunch of problems with it right now. There's to much 'economical refugees' even from european countries, especially Balkan. We have to stop that for multiple reasons, not the least is a 'brain drain' in those regions. To much young people, with no real perspective though, move away.

Actual war refugees should be distributed over EU in a manner that every member state can easily manage that financially. That would mean financially strong economies like us or Luxembourg take more refugees per citizen than Poland but Poland would take more overall than Luxembourg.

Biggest issue: Something has to happen at the root of the problem. All those crises like in Syria, where right now actually nothing gets better.
A majority of Syrians would probably return to their home country if this fucking war ended.

Just a side note:
With the Balkan war, late repatrieates from former USSR etc. Germany had more refugees and immigrants in the early 90s than it has right now.

P.S.: Extremists and fanatics are all stupid dickheads. Doesn't really matter if Nazi, religious fundamentalist or whatever.

It's a symptom of a much greater problem. Should we have left Gaddafi in power and not assisted the Syrian rebels? Quite possibly. Although undemocratic and strict, conditions in Syria and Libya look like Paradise compared to the war torn remains that is there now.

There is only so much room in Europe. What about the UN taking over a large area of IS controlled land and setting up a free democratic state? It could be for Refugees in unstable countries.

I'd imagine many migrants 'selected' to go to Poland for example, would refuse, and travel to their preferred country afterwards anyway. Quite amusing how nobody wants to go to Russia and other Eastern European countries.

Can you tell me who made a mess of it (and the whole middle east, really) in the first place? >.<

I am generally not in favour of lots of immigration, but when people's homes are destroyed by extremists, do you really blame them for wanting to start better lives elsewhere? Plus, I'm 100% certain that most of these people would return to their country if given the chance to live in peace.

I am from Croatia, and even though we are not on their direct route, we are expecting some refugees, and are ready to assist them as much as we can.
These unfortunate people are just trying to find peace and happiness some place, and not having to worry about getting killed any minute. Most of them are decent, hard working people, and have a goid chance to become useful members of society.

I need to add that Croatia has a decent sized Muslim population, and my city has a huge Muslim community. And we have never had any problems with them, as they are all nice and civilized people who are no different than any other person except in name.
And be sure, those people are not terrorists, they would not be drowning and dying, terrorists come to Europe on airplanes and in cars.

These poor people need all our help, and I am ready to help them myself as much as possible.

Can you blame them though really?

Put yourself in their shoes and you have to start a new life somewhere else with kids in tow. Obviously you probably would choose Germany or UK or Sweden over Poland or Hungary where the job you can get pays more and the standard of living is higher.

When talking about people fleeing warzones Russia is probably the worst example of countries to go to. It wasn't that long ago that they turned Ukraine in to a war zone remember...

My point was with Russia itself, and I would not expect any sane person to migrate there of course, It's an unappealing proposition to say the least.

I just adding that the migrants are very selective to where they go.
