Wait, I thought it was going to be disappointing? Hasn't that been the narrative lately?

That Polygon review looks about what I would expect from Polygon.

I doubt anyone is going to give this a bad review because they want to support Kojima.

So what's the cutscene to gameplay ratio in this game? I hated MGS4. Loved the first one though.

I hope it stays at a 95 meta, would be a great way to start off the meta prediction league xD

I'm so far amazed by the reviews. It's what I've been expecting out of the game judging by the tons of trailers and gameplay we've seen. I hope the trend keeps like it is. Judging from the reviews now, I believe it'll stay above 93, hopefully over 95. Let's just hope Polygon or Quarter to Three don't unfairly give a lower score to hamper the metascore.

Well I guess the GOTY is pretty obvious right now.

Looks very good tbh, I hated MGS4 but for what I have seen and read from this one sounds way more fun to me, I might get it.

After reading a few of these reviews, I feel this is what MGSIV should have been. Good to see the series going out on a high note.

It's a masterpiece after all :)

Too bad, i will have to find time to play this

Story is the main focus of MGS so yes there will be plenty of cut scenes

Oooh, so that's the reason it's getting good scores.  Good to know.

I didn't ask if there would be cutscenes, I just want more gameplay than cutscenes this time. I don't mind a focus on story, but the main focus should always be stealth gameplay.
