Yes, but they could do a special-value limited Splatoon bundle like the Wii Party U bundle in 2013. Mario Maker would just be the standard.

Nintendo would almost be stupid, not to do that. Splatoon is currently the reason to get a WiiU in japan, but I get the feeling they might do an Animal Crossing AP bundle. (Now that I remember it exists :P)

I actually expected slightly better from Splatoon, but I'm still satisfied with its perfomance.

Honestly, i think the people will be way disappoint with PS4 in japan this year. I can see a huge Metal Gear week ( +50k ) but after that, PS4 will back soon at the 10-15k basis for End of September and October...

Everything OK with your post, but worst month has always been May (second week or third week, depending on) and in the last two years, that week of May has been two years in a row the worst week ever in history since this kind of data has been published.

But looking last year, October was worse than May, for example, the Vita worse week ( under 10k ) is October. Even Wii U, in October of last year was barely above 4k, worse week of the year.

Yes. Since the actual game is included in the bundle, you're seeing its legs increased due to it.

Bumps aren't bad, but a bit underwhelming as my expectations rose a bit after seeing some of the early data.

Oh, now I got your point. Yes, so in particulary terms October is a bad month. May, it's bad in general terms (something than it's worse). I mean the total of hardware (and software) sold. By the way, why do you think PS4 slowing down? I mean, 10k - 15k, is not that bad, though.

for me, is bad honestly. I think a console should sell at least 20k at week, and more than 50k during December because of course is the holidays time.

So yeah, if you ask me, this week withouth 3DS is pretty poor, expecially if we considering is obon week.
