10 takes less resources, has the most useful interface imo, looks better, runs better, and minimizes the Metro footprint of 8 for a more desktop friendly environment. Not to mention, if you happen to have a Windows tablet and PC, they can both use the same OS (which was technically possible with 8), which can help unify the experience across devices.

I had the preview and it wasn't bad but went back to Win 7 simply because my virus protection wasn't compatible at the time , will try it again.
