Everyone on my game friends list is playing. Never played a single game with so many different friends and family.

That said, it is really fun I am almost averaging two goals per game after only playing two days this last weekend. This game is perfect, you can play it high as hell and still play pretty good.

Plain and simple, this game shocked me with both it's popularity and with the fun level. Soccer can finally be called a real sport.

I can't get enough of this game. I like it so much I bought it on my PC as well just to support the dev. Best PS+ game to date in my opinion (On PS4)!

but can this really be called "soccer"? that term ofcourse is an abbreviation of "association football", but there is no association for Rocket League

and it can't be called "football" without going to abstract thoughts like "the invisible man in the car is flooring it with his foot pretty much the entire time", so I guess "bumper ball" or simply "car ball" could be the most accurate terms

yes, that's the kind of things I'm thinking deeply about

If it was that easy then every game that's free on PS+ or GWG would go through something similar, but they simply don't. Yes being free with PS+ is helping this game massively with exposure but the thing is that in the situation of this game I'm actually quite sure that once the PS+ deal is over the game will continue to be popular and will have only benefitted from the initial playerbase the free month has given it.

But would it be so sucessful if it wasn't free? I don't think it would.

I think we should name it redneck soccer after th fans of NASCAR racing.
