If you can fly with an 80% plus hit rate you have a massive advantage over people who don't do aerials.

Why are you so determined to make out this game would not become super popular without PSN+. It's a great game, almost guaranteed to win many sports game GOTYs this years, and maybe some brave people will give it over all GOTY. What's going to give it competition? Splatoon and Bloodborne I think would be it's toughest competition. I don't think any of the crop coming later this year will amount to GOTY material, except maybe Rise of the Tomb Raider. I expect Fallout 4 to win about 60-70% of all GOTY awards, the rest will largely go to Witcher 3, MGS5, Halo5 and BloodBorne - while some few sites may make Rocket League the GOTY I doubt any of the major ones will do so
It was fun for 20 games, time for me to move on. Glad it's been a success though.

A big issue I have with aerials is that I don't like ball cam, I end up orbiting the ball alot instead of hitting it because of perspective. Hitting it while flying? That's impressive. I'm never into games that much though to work out things like this. I'm here to have fun with my mates.

I'm switching to ball cam. It takes getting used to but it's really the best even for straight ground work.
