Iwata went "directly" a better place and the rainbow I feel like is a final message to show it.

Rest in Peace Iwata and you will always be remembered.

I don't want to get off-topic, but I don't understand the "better place" reasoning. What's the point of even living if we can just go to a better place? Anyways, a rainbow is always beautiful.

Some people who have a faith that corresponds with one of the three abrahamitic religions (especially Christendom and Islam, not sure about Judaism) believe that this world is a trial and the afterlife is the prize for the hardships one have endured during this life. (Christian version) In the afterlife you will neither feel the pain nor the pleasure from the current life, everything will be neutral. You'll be at peace. But I don't think this is what FloatingWaffles meant with "better place". (Islamic version) I have not read much about this but I think there's more passion and pleasure in the afterlife for muslims. Maybe he meant this.

Or maybe he/she has his own idea of "better place".

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

I have absolutely no idea how to respond to this comment because I hardly ever talk about religion or beliefs.

By "better place" I simply meant a place that is better than this, which is what is assumed when most people talk about afterlife.

That's beautiful. I think Iwata was letting everyone know he is okay.

"Leave luck to heaven" indeed. Thanks, Iwata.

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

If the photographer were in some other angles to that HQ that rainbow would have nothing to do with the Nintendo building.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
