Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Stop with the childishness. Seriously

Yeah, how dare we not be satisfied with a handful of insulting C-grade spinoffs, two of which drag the names of beloved franchises through the mud, and the total absence of virtually every game NIntendo fans have been begging for since this gen began?

How dare we expect at least one new blockbuster game at the biggest gaming expo of the year.

How could we be so childish as to voice anger that the console we dropped hundreds of dollars on is being cut loose to survive on dregs in its third year.

Voice your anger.  But people are acting like they are worse than EA+Ubisoft-Bioware's games.  And their presentation sucking doesn't erase previously confirmed games from existence.  They should have showed them for sure.  But they wasted all their ammo.

The one thing I can agree on is the Metroid game being a very foolish endeavor; such a game shouldn't launch in place of a real Metroid game.  Put it on ice and make it a companion game to a real console Metroid game.  As for the Animal Crossing game, I get the frustration but it's hard for a non-fan to care :P .

That's childish ;). Seriously what happens if that turns out to be a fun game? Then what?

Well that's Internet for you, i think gamer and man generally tend to be childish with their toys ( console, PC, gadget, car and etc) even if they mature physically. Well actually not only man but some people have difference type of attitude. It just Nintendo E3 2015 is coincidentally in the pinnacle of doom situation where there is no more area to defend.

It's the same issue as Halo Wars.  It's just not a wise nor respectful proposition.  To keep fans in the dark, not make a new entry for a long time, tease a new game, then launch a spinoff in an entirely different genre with an entirely different art direction that doesn't match any of the previous games?  It's just not a wise decision from a business perspective.  The negative response was easily foreseeable.

There was only one thing missing from the digital event: a trollface at the end. Not trying to rub salt in the wound, just saying it would have made it a million times more honest. I do love how they aren't afraid of showing their Japanese side.

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

The show was crap and Nintendo's holiday title is more budget than Sony's holiday titles people have a right to be disappointed. And the start of 2016 seems to be quite shallow as freaking usual.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I did feel a bit disappointed in the digital event, but I'm not throwing my Wii U out of the window or anything. Star Fox Zero looked cool.

It doesn't make any sense. If a group of people defends Nintendo for every fucking decision they make (which many users, including myself, do), those people get called fanboys. But then when most of those same people turn around and finally start getting upset at the decisions Nintendo is making, they get called childish (among many other things)?

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Seriosuly people, you are all sounding like kids that didn't got what they wanted for Xmas, even though you knew beforehand your parents wouldn't buy it too you.  Before I begin to try and get my point across, let play a game, may be that will help all of this people understand better, seeing how they are acting :v

This is more like your parents getting you the box for Star Fox 64 for christmas, but then you open it and it's Superman 64.  Well, you fly through rings, don't you?? Don't complain.

Nintendo fans being childish? Well I NEVER!

Being a fan of a particular console has no bearing on performing childish actions, insuinating that it does is a wide reaching generalization, given your often snarky attitude as of late I find it difficult to simply write it off as a joke, even if you intended it to be one.
This combined with your extensive moderation history leaves me with only one possible solution, you can consider this your final, formal warning.

Stop with the snarkyness, insults and jokes made in both bad taste and questionable intent as the next infraction you receive will be a permanent one.
