50$ for Tales of Vesperia: DE?!? are they crazy even at 30$ it's a stretch.

Yeah, when I saw the price I quickly decided to rent it instead of buying it. No way I'm paying that much for an HD port of an old game, even if it does include the formerly Japan/PS3 exclusive content. It would be one thing if it was a remake, but it's not, it's a simple uprez from 720p to 1080p.

Worse yet. The game's voice work had already been done as early as 2008. Yes, they basically planned the enhanced release, then kept it Japan only even though MS said they could already port it to the PS3!

Bamco gonna Bamco...

State of Decay - 1,083,514
Ori and the Blind Forest - 997,767

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition - 764,826

Halo: Spartan Assault - 352,861

More in download file: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/07/steam-data-leak-reveals-precise-player-count-for-thousands-of-games/

some of these numbers are quite a bit lower than I thought.

Just gonna post my June gaming summary here:

Disneyland Adventures - 44 achievements / 795G

A Way Out - 10 achievements / 720G

Gears of War 4 - 3 achievements / 85G

Halo: The Master Chief Collection - 11 achievements / 100G

Sea of Thieves - 3 achievements / 65G

State of Decay II - 11 achievements / 165G

Forza Motorsport 7 - 6 achievements / 65G

A Way Out hasn't been quite as good as I expected so far. It's fun to play co-op, I love the voice acting and story is ok so far but it's just way too easy. Some challenge would be nice.

MCC just keeps on giving. Played through Halo 3 again with my brother, then did par time on all the levels.

State of Decay II is great but I just messed up and got my leader killed while going for a plague heart totally unprepared :P This aren't looking good for my community, had to take a break before trying to fix things.

Sea of Thieves.. ah still the best game of 2018 and maybe the whole gen. I'm currently 44/32/32 and determined to become a Pirate Legend one day :)

So I bought Horizon 3 during the E3 sale. My first Forza purchase this gen. It just oozes style and quality. It's as close as we will get to a next gen Motorstorm, I guess. A week ago I bought the Blizzard Mountain DLC on sale... anyone know when you get to access it? I'm on stage four of the festival IIRC.

Game looks stupid good on the Scorpio, too. Way better than the F7 demo. I wonder how Turn10 feels considering they created this franchise and now here comes this other company just pooping all over the Motorsports games.

They serve a different audience.  Playground has way more to work with if they only have to target 30fps compared to Turn10 60fps.

I love the fact when they show off the new search feature on Inside Xbox the 1st game that comes up is Fable legends Closed Beta :P

Man, I really hope there are some OG xbox back compat announcements on Inside Xbox. Still hoping for GTA 3, Vice City, SSX Tricky, and Burnout 3.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Why is the summer sale taking to long?

Forza Horizon 4 for me here the easiest round by far to pick for.... but you got Ori 2, Rage 2 and Ace Combat 7 all in one round, That's stacked like crazy :(

Might just be me but I find it a little odd that Life is Strange 2 is still in the A/Indie category, I think it's definitely looking more AA now and with a AAA publisher the price alone they are asking pushes that as it's double the first game jumping up to $40 for the same amount of episodes.
