I agree with a lot of what you said but mainly these... which I'll comment on in order.

Gran Turismo has always been a steaming pile of turd to me. I generally don't like racing games and I cannot understand the love they get.

I rented Batman from gamefly back in 2010 and it put me to sleep. It's mechanics where sluggish and it felt incomplete.

As for ICO. I went in with high hopes because I adored SotC. But I soon realized that it felt more like a bad puzzle than a game.

I never read actual reviews anymore. I look at  player feedback/comments. They are closer to truth. A lot of reviewers are bought or bribed online (just read about the scandals the past few years... it's a google search away). Even websites you are familiar with.

Even though gameplay is important... I can still play through a game if it's story driven.

As a fan of AC 1 & 2... I rather play that painfully technical Infamous 1 than to ever play another AC.

Dead Space is one the best survival horror games of all time.

SEGA is the most overrated of all major console manufacturers past and present.  They are essentially a one hit wonder in the console industry with the success of the Genesis, as the rest of their consoles were all niche, short lived endeavors.

Wii U online is the best online service I ever used.

CoD Ghosts is one of the best story CoDs in franchise history.

3DO destroys its competitors in the 32 bit wars.

I thoroughly enjoy 3rd party games on Wii U.

I also hate 2D metroids. Even Super Metroid and wouldn't care if it never comes to Wii U.

The latest one (wich isnt new but seems misteriously shocking) is that i think Occulus and Morpheus will be a fad and most probably flop big time(especially morpheus. Occulus may have a market on porn). The tech is not ready, theres no worthwhile software and theres multiple quality of life concerns.
Shocking apparantly. The hype train is underway and it didnt even bother to check if it had tracks to ride on.

I guess, the fact that i like Nintendo's aproach to the game's market over Sony/Microsoft/third parties with their pay for online/microtransactions/DLC malpractices. It's always popular to hate on Nintendo online because their games are deemed kiddy, and the big boys need to feel like men on their gaming habits. They just don't see they will outgrow that too.

Apparantly that makes me  a Nintendo fan i've been told. Even though i dont really dig Mario games. I have a very specific range of Nintendo IP's i like. But i guess it ends up as more than the other first parties. F-zero, Fire emblem, pokemon mainline and Golden sun.

Sony could beat that though, if they made sequals to the IP's i like. Legend of dragoon, wild arms, syphon filter, god of war (this one they are).

So, you know... i may be called a Sony fan in a different day. Who knows. I like to think i'm a fan of games, in particular RPG's. There is only one games company i loved, and they have long since been dead to me (SEGA).

i like to play my games, not watch them.

I think publishing should take a turn to using Kickstarter in cases of old IPs lying dormant. It seems to be the only way to revive these series when the publishers are too scared to make an investment into something unsure.

I think the Kinect is a good piece of kit and the games which have come out of it have been fun to play.

1) Rockstar are the most overrated developer.
2) GTA is the most mediocre game on the planet
3) saints row 4 was miles better than GTA 5
4) bayonetta 2 was too short and didn't come as near to perfection as Bayonetta 1.
5) Darksiders franchise is better than GoW and Zelda
6) Snatcher is Kojimas best game
7) Eternal Champions CD was the best 2D beat me up and MK pales in comparison
8) sonic adventure 1 &2 were better than any other sonic game ever made
9) Shadows of the Damned was the most underrated game of last gen and better than any Resi game released last hen gen.
10) DmC is the 2nd most overrated game after anything published by Rockstar.
11) DmC best bossesand some level concepts were ripped straight from Suda games such as Shadows and Lollipop Chainsaw
12) I find the new Rayman man games better than the new 2D Mario games
13) Jak & Daxter as a franchise is overrated as only Jak and Dexter precursors legacy was a game worthy of purchase.
14) Buzz games are some of the least appreciated yet one of the most fun party games on any console
15) Shadow of Mordor and the Nemesis system is overrated
16) Puppeteer was one of the best games of last green on any console
17) Resistance 2 was the best in the franchise
18) Fallout 3 was boring
19) Skyrim was okay at best
20) The Fight: Lights Out was the best fight simulator on consoles and one of the most innovative and best fight games
21) Lylat Wars is better than most Nintendo 1st party games made to date
22) Yakuza series is better than GTA in everything department where you can make a like for like comparison
23) Gamers are the biggest douches in gaming as they cry for new things but then they don't support them.

I think that should do for now. Feel a lot better with that off my chest.
