Those who never bought (but could have based on their age) a SEGA Saturn & a SEGA Dreamcast, are DEAD to me.

I think most people that praise FFVII never played it fully or have really short memories. Because the same people criticize lots of elements in FFXIII that are basically equal to FFVII. '-'

I love starfox adventures.

The past few Nintendo (home) consoles have been far too kid friendly. This does not speak about the quality of their software, which is undeniable top notch quality, but their lack of more serious themes in their games has always been a deterrent, for me personally, to put serious support into them.

I actually really enjoyed the DS Zelda games. They weren't mind-blowing but they were still pretty solid.

DLC gets an awfully bad and unjustified rap. (Microtransactions suck though)

The Half-Life series is ridiculously overrated.

The Zelda series is not that great and its popularity is largely motivated solely by people's nostalgia for the older games.  (also on that note i think TP is the best Zelda)

I feel the exact same way about Mario 64 as i do Zelda.

MK 8 is the best Mario Kart title. (not unpopular on these forums i don't think, but in my experience it is elsewhere)

I have always loved Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

not sure if this is unpopular or not, but Sonic Adventure 2 has one of the best video game soundtracks that i have heard, for the most part.

The dragons in Skyrim were never fun and were totally unnecesarry.  I also like Oblivion more than Skyrim.

BioWare has just been making the same game over and over ever since KotOR.

BioShock 1 was generally overrated and its core gameplay was actually pretty crappy. (oddly enough i loved Infinite tho)

i wasn't a fan of Portal 2.

Smash 4 is not that great compared to the other games in the series. (not sure if that's unpopular on these forums or not)

the lack of mainly "live" recorded music for Smash 4 (like 3D World and MK 8 had) significantly hurt its appeal in my eyes.

Arkham Asylum is generally better than City.

Valve gets more credit than they deserve.

Starfox Assault is not a bad game.

I think the New Super Mario Bros. series has gotten worse over time.

Splatoon is overhyped (although i hope it's good.)

Dualshock 4 is the worst dualshock ever.

Wii is the best console ever and that's because of it's homebrew community.

Wiimotes are the best controllers for many genres including shooters and anything turn based.

Gamepad is really awesome and should stay for the next console, but should have been optional.

Visual novel is the best genre.

Metal gear solid is terrible.

Piracy is ok(specially in the third world), cheating is not for the most part.

Mobile has many gems and Nintendo could have the best 3rd party support by securing complete and b2p versions of mobile games. It'd be really stupid if their next home console is not ARM-based.

Metroid Fusion is the best game ever.

Turok is better than goldeneye.

Halos level design is weak and started the dumbing down of first person shooters.

Shadow of the colossus has garbage controls and 60% of its gameplay is just dowsing.

Playstation controller are crap.

Gameplay is more important than story, but story integrated into gameplay is the best.

Cut scenes are a lazy way to tell a story in a game but sometimes it's the way to go.

People need to chill out about feminists in the gaming community. Women are not here to steal our penis power.

Donkey Kong 64 is just a messy clone of Mario 64.

Jet force Gemini has barely functional controls, the fetch quests are garbage and the second half of the game is not worth playing.

I hardly ever miss voice chat in games that don't have it.

Motion control is an important step in the progress of games. Also they work great for FPS games.

2D platformers are the purist form of game.

Super Mario World (SNES) is overrated (not saying its bad just overrated).

Best Sonic game: Sonic Blast for game gear.
