Splatoon is set to release on May 28-29 worldwide, with reviews expected to roll in on the 27th. Thought of as the first major game for the Wii U in 2015, Splatoon has a lot to live up to. With the Global Testfire elevating the hype to incredible heights, only time will tell if the full package manages to deliver. With the console bundle, amiibo, manga and other forms of marketing Nintendo has done to get this game out there, I sure hope it does.

Most will hope for a really high score, however, based on what it doesn't have it shouldn't score anywhere near a 85+ as any other team based online shooter with a single player campaign would get chastised for lacking the things Splatoon lacks.

Doesn't mean it won't be a fun game, but we just hope to see consistency here. I am going with a 78-80.
