Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox I am sorry never again

Firstly i was on xbox chat to america, excellent service but i live in Ireland(Europe) so no good for me.

I will never buy an xbox product ever again after getting insulted by an xbox support agent on chat in ireland. Firstl y he assumed i bought my xbox 360 second hand in gamestop . He actually gave me some bull**** about waranty not covering refurbished products from gamestop.

Then i talked to another guy on support and although i had a case number he made me troubleshoot the same processes again. I was like you know i  work in IT. Anyway xbox support sucks in ireland, its a lot better in America believe me. Maybe thats one reason the xbox brand does not sell in Europe.

Also thank you gamestop for the refund, Now what to buy.

Also i would like to add in in general i am a windows fanboy, my phone is windows, my pc, my laptop is windows but never again will my console be windows. I think i will stick with nintendo for ever my nes, snes, n64, gamecube, wii are still going strong, also so is my og xbox but that was a block,

Sounds pretty normal for customer services lines to be terrible though...

Not really my experience. If you're friendly to them, they're pretty much always friendly to you. I can't actually recall ever having a bad customer service experience with MS, or anyone else.

Well i was going to buy that anyways. I normally buy two consoles every gen but i have not bought one yet this gen

Do you live in the USA?  because i was on to the wrong support and i was talking to some girl in the USAand she was really nice and helpful, nothing like what i had to deal with in ireland.

So you recognize that they do have good support, but refuse to buy a console for them again just because of Ireland support?

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

The only time I talked to them it was perfect, no problems at all.

Portugal here btw.

Judging by the way you wrote coupled with being overly emotional about a call service from ireland, it sounds like you wanted to be excused from buying anything from them tbh, there's no way you let one call service completely shape how you shop, my folks for example have had shit call service with Sky for years, not just a single one hour call, years, I'd say they were more or less right to cancel with Sky, that and saving themselves money by going with the more modern Netflix.

That's how i see it anyway.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"
