It's quite clear that nintendo is backing monster hunter hard, practically like it's their own Ip, and capcom has no interest in spending money on a console monster hunter.
I imagine in Japan a lot of vita owners would also own a 3DS so you're not adding extra sales just taking a few away from 3DS for more work. And it's free money for them when nintendo localises and advertises the games in the west.

Not to mention the Vita is dead in the West, so 3DS is the more logical choice for strengthening the MH brand outside Japan.

That's why I wouldn't mind them releasing the first version of the game only on 3DS and the (inevitable) remaster on 3DS, Vita and Wii U - to give people more incentive to double dip on the remaster.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Well I'm loving that artstyle, and the it just seems like it will be amazing *__* I imagine it may turn out to be New 3DS exclusive, as a showcase of its power, though it will probably get downgraded a bit. It being on NX is something I can't see happening, since Ninty usually releases a new console the year after reveal, so the earliest the NX is releasing is 2017. So the game will either see a downgrade or New 3DS is stronger than what we believe.



COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

Or neither. There's no reason Nintendo has to abide by some arbitrary announcement tradition. They can, and likely will, reveal and release it in the same year, which is next year.
