Pretty solid releases so far, even some great ones. I'd definitely give it an easy 7/10.

As a whole, I'd give it a solid 6.5/10.

There are still so many gen-defining games that have yet to come out, there aren't very many quality new IPs at the moment and overall the gen hasn't reached its full potential (which is understandable considering it's still very new). I feel that the only platform that has really matured is the 3DS.

Nevertheless, I've had more fun with 8th gen games than any other gen and that counts for something in my book. It's really a few third parties that have pissed me off/disappointed me this gen, but I'm done with them. I'm only going to focus on developers I trust.
