6/10
- Indies better (more fun) than AAA
- Remakes/remasters
- Predictable Sequels
- Overhype
- Graphics over gameplay
Despite the move to X86 platform that would result in cheaper and better games, we get:
- Delays
- Technical problems

I own every console with no exceptions and it sucks that I often walk into GameStop and walk out with nothing. My current game in heaviest rotation is Majorà's MaskMask on 3DS. Not because I want it to be. Nothing new is booking me like I hoped.
4/10 so far. 6/10 if you play portables.
5/10
However, it is hard to gauge... The last two generations were probably when I was in my prime years for video gaming. I was in high school and college and gaming was a big part of my relaxation routine. I'm older now and don't have as much time to game as I use to, nor do I have the same level of interest... So it is hard for me to really rate this generation as much of my dissatisfaction is probably due to my own stage of life rather then the hardware and games being offered...
7/10 and because of bloodborne, after games like uncharted 4, mgs v, batman or the last of us 2 it will rise it's mark to 10/10 like every other generation did with time for me : )

7/10 before Bloodborne, 8/10 after. inFamous & Destiny surprised me, NBA2K is NBA2K, Ground Zeroes I put down after I beat its short campaign. BB is the best game so far and TLoU + GTA I played on PS3 but have on my PS4. Not to mention all those free PS Plus games. I felt like I bought my PS3 too early in the generation but opposite for the PS4.
4/10, too many unfinished games, delays and ports, oops i mean remasters
Giving it a solid 7.
Nothing MIND BLOWING has come along yet but I've thoroughly enjoyed DKCTF, SM3DW (not as much as either Galaxy), Mario Kart 8 (best yet), Smash Bros., and Wind Waker HD (best Zelda ever for me due to no motion controls and improved navigation) on my WiiU.
I've also thoroughly enjoyed Killzone (not quite as good as 2 but still very open and differently fun than other FPS), AC4, Infamous SS and First Light (least favorite Infamous but still damn good), The Order (yeah I enjoyed it so sue me it had great TPS gameplay to go with an engaging story), TLoU Remastered (DS4 and smoothed over visuals made me love this game even more), LBP3 (best in the series absolutely love it and it keeps on giving with new levels that are fun), and FC4 on my PS4.
Can't wait for Zelda, Star Fox, Until Dawn, Ratchet Reboot, Rime, GoW3 Remastered, Witcher 3, Batman AK, MGS5, Uncharted 4, and many more to come!
I am Iron Man
Yeah it seems like this gen is a 6/10 for many so far.
The PS4 really lacks games, a year without any worthwile software is something even the Wii U didn't have to go through. It's also underpowered compared to today's standards. All of that goes for the XB1 too, as it and the PS4 are pretty much the same thing.
The Wii U has some great games and the gamepad is nice but god damn the hardware is even older than PS4 and Xbone's. It also doesn't have enough support and its marketing is very poor.
3/10 on home consoles, remasters, overhyped or glitched games on one side, droughts and half-assed ports on the other, and to make it even worse delays on all of them.
6/10 on handhelds, mainly thanks to the 3DS
