Super6466 it was either fox news' Russian correspondent or Kim Jong Un. I've only 1 braincell and even I know that.

No, no! It was Barack Obama!!!! No but seriously that joke isn't funny. It wasn't the CIA, it wasn't Barack Obama, and it wasn't Fox News. I'm almost certain it had something to do with Vladimir Putin.

Almost means nothing to me. Anyway this is political thread, not a joke one. I have no problem with opinions, and some of them seem very real. But seriously this thread is just for politics

its kind of funny how easily people are buying into the manipulations with regards to russia

anyway the priesthood did it

it has been confirmed for a while now that the states have been involved in attempting to install puppit governments in ukraine

evidence of this was the leaked victoria nuland phone call

Politics is almost a joke to me. Make of that what you wish.

Actually I think it could be unconnected to the political sphere. As I can't see how anyone can win anything through Nemtzows death. Except there was something happening behind the scenes we don't know about.

Nemtzow was once more popular, but in the last time he was a pretty unsuccessful opposition politician. I can't see why he was murdered now if someone feared his influence, as his influence pretty small these days.

Actually yes, it could be due to his commercial activity after all. Nemtsov is from old "liberal" guard of B.N.Yeltsin times, once high position in the goverment, eventually downgraded to regional status, and after few scandals, including corruption, was kicked out of the power entirely. But he kept his fingers in the smaller money-making pies here and there, unlike some of his regime fighting compatriots who are poor as monastery rats and live from paycheck to paycheck from one of the many "democracy" institutes, he was a 100% opportunist. Other possibility, a personal thing. He wasn't, what you call, an ethical person and not liked by many. In fact he was killed while walking with some Ukrainian hooker (or how she was reffered in the media -- "a model"), died as he had lived :D

Even if that's political, don't get why would anyone bother with "liberal" opposition from over here except for those DoS-funded "democracy" insitutes? After the default of 1998 their popularity downgraded to zero, with zero achieved results before that time. If anything I'd say mess with the "patriotic" crowd, left or right, they're numerous, usually busy with craping on each other heads, a lot of popular "talking heads" are among tham, good deal of them aren't Putin supporters. Though FSB probably heavily involved in messing with them as well :D

2 men who suspected in Nemtsov's death are arrested.

IMO Putin has some sort of connection to it.

He has everything to gain and almost nothing to lose. He can kill people who opposes him then just say it's America or Western Europe destabilizing Russia and 'm not going to be surprised is majority believes him since anti American Sentiment is at an all time high right now in Russia.

From one of the comments in this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjz2VugYQPU

"Man he is one lucky guy, It's incredible how anyone who apposes him just dies, and he had nothing to do with any of it, I know because he said so, and what reason do I have not to trust Putin." - Jam man
