In 2015 March has mario party 10,April has xenoblade x and May has splatoon...

Why you mention summer,it had a 60k baseline then till the end of august and now you see it at 55k in February...

You're afraid that after mario party 10,splatoon,xenoblade e.t.c,a momentum from mk8 and ssbu,wii u won't repeat the 60k baseline in the summer,while it does 55k in february without any game release?

I think the summer will be brutal for all three, in percentages, I think the PS4 might get the biggest drop yoy. Splatoon, Xenoblade and similar games won't really do much for sustained global momentum; they'll cause short and rather small boosts, most likely, and "momentum from MK8 and SSBU" can't carry the Wii U through 2015. The release slate is really quite slim and nowhere near the levels of MK and Smash in the same year. Topping Smash for the holidays and having MK as the savior for the summer lull was crucial last year; this will not happen again, games releasing in 2014 will not help the Wii U grow, this is not how it works.

This will be a tough year and I still believe the Wii U will be down yoy overall when all is said and done.

Splatoon, really? Xenoblade might be a dark horse and do a lot better than its predecessor on the WIi, SO I won;t count that out. But what makes you think SPlatoonb has the sort of appeal that will make people go and buy a Wii U in significant numbers?

600K first week for Evolve. Not too shabby actually. Legs will be what tells about this game.

Ehh Xenoblade X has potential to bring in rpg fans but we need a smt x fe release date and a paper mario going back to its roots to probably bring them in.

Anyway wii u will be down yoy in the summer but if Nintendo doesn't go stupid with their bundles(not releasing a smash bundle worldwide really?) and makes a zelda bundle wii u should be up in the holidays, or better yet a zelda, mk8, and smash wii u bundle for $250. XD
