Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi will launch in Japan on July 23 for 6,990 yen on PlayStation 4 and 5,990 yen on PlayStation 3.

Brings to mind if this one will make it over tot he west. I enjoyed Sengoku Basara on my PS3 years ago so be nice to play characters again on PS4.

Make me wonder Why CRAPcom keep avoiding Vita with this game serie...

As for Senran Kagura, I'm very interested to see the next move for the series.

My guess? Another PSV/PS4 title.  3DS successor will be announced by time next entry is scheduled to come out and Vita will likely still be around and PS4 number 1 console in all territories.

Let's be fair, yesterday's Direct delivered.

SMTxFE has been re-announced. Although not very much like either SMT or Fire Emblem (it's more a Persona clone), the mix has really interesting design and presentation.

I know this thread is mainly about home consoles but I'll make an exception for some 3DS games.

Fire Emblem IF comes as soon as June 25th in Japan! (2016 in the west my poor friends). It's gonna be actually two games like the Pokemon series.

And man, look at this. This Great Ace Attorney trailer is perfect! The writing, the dubbing, the characters, the universe, the 3D modeling, everthing looks just... GREAT! Definitely one of my most anticipated games this year, and I will get it mid-July!

Nintendo really needs to work harder on their localisation... How can it take more than 6 months for a game that is more succesful in the West?

Hello folks! I'm in Japan right now so I thought I might as well share the gaming situation here. Here are some pics I've taken in Akihabara.

Senran Kagura Shinobi Estival versus is everywhere, even in restaurants!

Big PS4 push in general : Hyperdimension Neptunia V2, Yakuza 0, Dragon Quest Heroes are spotted quite a lot

big Vita presence with a whole bunch of niche games here and there, but a clear focus on Kan Colle Kai in preorders

On the other hand, no big marketing for Nintendo games. This is the only stand to promote XCX (even Xenoblade 3D gets more attention) and Bravery Second has just 1 or 2.

Miku's still extremely popular

Game/anime goods, tons of them. It's been only 3 days and I spent an unthinkable amount of money already...

OK, it so happens that we're no longer allowed to voice opinions on this site. FINE! I'll refrain from giving my opinion.

Well, maybe I can give this one (should be safe) : I went to the Pokemon Center in Ikebukuro and it was freakin' cool! Here some photos.

and loot of the day...

This looks soooo cool. I won't be able to go to Japan until Summer 2016 though :/

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD shipments top 1 million. The smear campaign has FAILED!

Only thing what i have imported so far for new gen was Bloodborne japanese limited edition, i preordered it from japan because it was a lot cheaper even including shipping and taxes it would be like the normal edition here lol.

I ended up preordering the collectors edition here too but didnt cancel my japanese preorder because the devolopers deseverve the money.

Great thread, japanese games often are more innovative than western games.

I might add that Project Zero (Fatal Frame) finally gets localized to the west.
