Sure sure with that low end GPU, only capable of 1.3TF and very low effective memory bandwidth... maybe if the Game runs at 720p on X1...

Which is not the case: http://gamingbolt.com/dying-light-ps4-versus-xbox-one-comparison-almost-identical-across-both-platforms

From the article you posted : ""Fortunately, screen tearing does not seem to happen in parkour, so it does not disturb one of the most important elements of the gameplay. We also came across pop-in issues with textures, zombies or random objects. However we must add that these issues are less on the PS4, which is probably down to its more capable GPU. ''

You also forgot to mention that the Game is not running better on X1, as that member said(busbfran); so I replied.

In fact, the Game runs better on PS4; both version are locked at 30fps even if PS4 could easy run at 40-45fps if devs wanted. Devs always hold back PS4 version because they develop with the lowest hardware in mind ---> and PC version is the one affected the most by this.

So, the only way to have the X1 version running better(better frame rate, less pop-in issues with textures, zombies or random objects, less screen tearing, etc is making the Game at 720 on X1. Am I wrong ?  Even considering Devs holding back PS4 verison!

using 40-45fps with todays TVs unfortunately is not a good experience because they all use 60Hz input and that means it leads to double display of every second frame (-> noticeable stuttering, especially in relatively slow panning shots)

once TVs can use adaptive refreshrates like the newest PC monitors can devs will finally be able to experiment with framerates other than 30 and 60, but whether or not TVs ever offer that is unknown at this point :( - hopefully console manufacturers at least make this feature availble to those who play on a monitor with adaptive refreshrate capability

A win is a win, right? And both versions should run comfortably above 30 fps if the game is more or less locked.

But whatever, pop-in of textures clearly shows the massive 40% advantage of the PS4. Oh no, I forgot, the hardware isn't to blame, it's the devs and the Xbox One holding the game back. Devs and MS are truly evil.

Sure, but Devs could still improve graphics more on PS4 if they go with locked 30fps; nobody wants 40-45fps.  I was referring to the extra power PS4 has, which can be used in many ways.   But it would be a waste of money for Developers, who just want to sell almost the same game to all gamers, PS4/ High End PC and X1.

The GPU of PS4 could give a boost over the X1 which varies under different conditions(40%-90%).

Devs are responsible, but how to blame them, it's a business and they just want to make money and spend less without properly optimizing the most powerful hardwares.

Also MS are not evil, they just know to have a less capable piece of hardware and sometimes they help a lot more Devs to have their version closer to the PS4 version.
