Very true. It is closer to augmented reality.

Doubt it. VR is a screen so hololens wont do very much the way it looks so far to match it for games. Sony did this years ago controlling assets with augmented reality with the Move and the PSEye.

yea, consumer VR headsets will hopefully have cameras so that you can quickly have a look around you without taking it off, the Samsung Gear VR already can do that by using the Note 4s main camera
adding AR elements to these video feeds shouldn't be too difficult and offer a similar experience
Wow, I can upgrade for free to Windows 10? What an unexpected, yet pleasant surprise!

I remember tom clancys ghost recon demo in xbox 360 kinect (which was never implemented). It feels kinda like that. Here is that video.

Yes, its like PS4 remote play, but I am not sure you can play over the internet, it may just be local streaming. |
it's just gotta allow over the internet or the feature is less than worthless. the only way this has any value is if i can play game on my lunch break.
"i want to play my console games on my laptop screen instead of my tv" ~said no one ever.

They don't really need to. The Move already does this. Look up the tech demos before the move came out. They do the same thing via a TV screen. They've been doing this since 2006.
