Hate Minecraft. Hate teletelly. This already has my vote for worst game of the year.

Got to love the doom and gloom. Lego has survived all these years by trying different things. This is a minor off shoot and why not?! As long as it's fun and creative.

Seems a little off in this situation. The small company was 3 mates who got offered 2 billion for their company worth at most 100million. They left straight after. I doubt they care what this 'small company' does now.

Microsoft paid $2 billion for Minecraft? What a waste of money. But then again, Microsoft is well known for buying overpriced game studios. Let's hope this is a success story like Rare. :D
And this isn't even exclusive to XBOX/PC?

It's not exclusive to Xbox/PC because it isn't a Xbox purchase, no way would MS allow the Xbox division to limit the money Mojang are making. It needs to make that money back and half the board do not even like Xbox. It was obviously a MS purchase.

I like TellTale's storytelling, and was very excited when I heard they have a new project. Unfortunately, it's Minecraft. Surely it will make them good money, but the best they'll get from me is at a 50%+ off sale.
So take a game that gives you unlimited uses of your imagination, take that all away and give you a few limited choices with it mostly being point to click.
Yeah no thanks, I'll stick with the regular game, never liked TTG and I can't see that changing anytime soon.
