I just love that the "hard-drinking brawler" of the group, usually a role for a grizzled heavyset dude, is a young woman. Really cool reversal of cliche. And she's frequently quite funny; her description of the arena where she teasingly leads Zael to think she's talking about a brothel, for instance.

Lowell was cool too though. TLS's characters were probably its best asset, the camraderie was really well done, by the end of the game I didn't want to leave them, I'd become so attached.
