Bayonetta (bayonetta), Tenebrae (Tos 2 dotnw) N (pokemon b/w/b2/w2), Akane Kurashiki (nine persons, nine hours, nine doors) Neku (TWEWY) Fi (Skyward Sword), Rosalina (mario galaxy), Shulk and Mayneth (Xenoblade Chronicles), Glados (Portal).

tbh, I haven't thought about this at all. At least two characters from Nier.

Rosalina, GLaDOS, and Professor Layton are the only new characters that I felt were truly memorable for me last gen. (At least positively, Baby Daisy is there as memorable as well but in a different sub-category).

I'd also would have considered heavily someone from Lost Odyssey and Valkryia Chronicles. Ellie would likely make the list. Maiden in Black from Demon's Souls. Ellen from Folklore. Yuri from Vesperia would have made it.

It's a pretty tough thing to be honest.

I would have included Jansen over Sullivan, but the later has the benefit of multiple games to expand his persona. Maiden in Black is as memorable as the unsuccessful times I tried killing her.

Yuri is certainly a protagonist that is above almost every RPG protagonist; but I wanted to list just one character from a single game and I think Raven made quite an impact on me.
