Another what if thread.

What if Nintendo had made a deal with Rockstar for GTAV on wii U, but like this:

-Release in the same day as PS3 and X360.(or even earlier, if MS let it)

-A 300$ GTAV Wii U bundle.

-With exclusive first person mode first on wii U, (but still not on PS3 and X360). (I see people saying that it is a selling point)

-Some more exclusivities, like a pikachu car, view from GTA1 on gamepad, an other ninty related exclusive content.

Would it have changed wii U situation? I can see it selling a few millions, and moving 1 million or more consoles. Also, the same GTAV public on wii U would buy other third party software too. So, other third parties would not abandon wii U cos it also has potential to sell thirdy party software. Also, Nintendo could move some of software as WWHD, pikmin and W101 for better spread in time to fill the drought. And the multiplat games would be on wii U this year, along with MK and smash, wii U it would have much more value than it has today, wii U would be in a much better situation.

So, what do you think, accurate?

People that would be swayed by this deal would already be getting a PS4 or an XBoxOne. It's not like one game is going to sway them from that camp. It may have made some fence sitters jump, though.

If there was a system bundle I think it would have sold decently. However didn't Sony and Rockstar have like a deal for their console bundle? I don't remember ever seeing a 360 bundle for GTA V.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Yea, I think it would have increased console sales by a lot and probably would have shown people that third party was still there if a big one like Rockstar was willing to port one of their biggest games to the wiiU! Plus the possibilities would have been awesome too!
