Forums - Gaming Discussion - AC Unity has major framerate issues

Why am I not surprised? Since the early Rayman days; I have yet to play a Ubi title that didn't have framerate issues, this goes double for the AC series. Deus Ex: Human Revolution actually ran pretty well, come to think of it, it seems that Ubi just aren't able to produce an open world setting without getting major stutters and tear, which is downright comical when you view it in context with the ridiculous system req's on PC for AC: Unity.

Deus Ex was published by Square Enix.

You mean the Square Enix/Eidos game Deus Ex?

It's also a good thing that every single game they make these days is open world when they can't make a stable open world game

Far Cry 3 was a stable 30fps for me on PC, though given every other game of its era was hitting 60, that should still be dissapointing

The really just need to take a year off and do AC II HD. Still the best game in the series

Pc too lol, total biscuit has a really good pc. http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sica1s

Well it's better if they redone it and delay the games, rather then pushing it to release this year.

Sorry Ubisoft, i think i just have to wait for 1 or 2 years before buying this games, i hope they can fix the frame rate issues.
If not there is a chance for the second one. But if they still making the same mistake, no more money from me.

Got Ubi Montreal and Eidos Montreal mixed up...

Well then; that makes it even worse, doesn't it?

Very cinematic.

These consoles are soo powerful...

:D

What the fuck is going on with Ubi this gen?...

I was watching an early live stream of it on Sunday and the framerate was pretty bad. The accidentally jumping to your death or on a fence/ledge/fruit stand hasn't improved much either. I do like that it's very stealth intensive, but the enemy AI is still laughable. This will be the first AC game I won't buy on day 1.

The PC version has issues too, even with a rig that can max the game out. And you need a pretty powerful rig to max this game because the optimizations done to the PC version is nonexistent.
