This is always unacceptable but especially so when it comes from the company touting the power of their cloud. It's good they're at least working on it.

So,how is the MM right now?

I will make some guesses here... the numbers of users are increasing what make the issues more apparent and bigger scale.

While you don't fix it more users trying to play = worst.

Makes sense! Too bad though, people paid $60 for this :/

They did? The cheapskates.
I paid $100. #stupidconsoleaustraliantax

The great thing even with all of Halo: MCC's online-features being completely crap is that at-least there is a massive crap-ton of single-player content that's stupidly fun.
Taken a few days, but I'm starting on Halo 2 now, hopefully it doesn't crash/skip levels/not recognize achievements like in Halo CE: Anniversary.

If all games that had the MP portion broken had as many content as Halo MCC then it would be quite better than most situation.

11.15 7:00 PM Update
Looking at our data logs, server-side adjustments that we have made over the past 24 hours have shown a 20% increase in server connectivity. However, we are well aware that performance is not where it needs to be, and have a content update on the way. Read the full update from Executive Producer Dan Ayoub here.

I’d like to provide the latest on Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and what the team is working on to address the issues you’re experiencing.

Looking at our data logs, server-side adjustments that we have made over the past 24 hours have shown a 20% increase in server connectivity. However, we are well aware that performance is not where it needs to be. Resolving Matchmaking issues also requires client-side fixes, which require a content update. The client side update, which focuses on Matchmaking performance, non-matchmaking bugs, and a variety of title-specific issues, has been completed and is going through testing and certification. We are currently targeting a release of Wednesday 11/19 for this content update.
We know the current Matchmaking experience is frustrating, and we continue to have various teams working 24/7 to isolate and resolve the issues to provide the best experience as soon as possible. We are going to continue to optimize the matchmaking experience after next week's content update, and make further adjustments as needed. We thank you for your continued patience.

Dan Ayoub
Executive Producer

Still works better than DC in under a month. I was playing earlier today and connected to several matches in different playlists in just a few minutes.

Either way, the people really affected by this stuff is people buying the games. Quit worrying about the bullshit that happens on interweb forums.

I don't have a local Dick Smith, JB Hi-Fi etc'.
Just an EB Games.

Could have ordered online and waited a week...
