Forums - Gaming Discussion - 3 New Xbox One Bundles + Price drop did absolutely nothing

Xbox One "Dominating"? It's funny people on here were making such a big deal of the hourly sales on Amazon of the bundles but they absolutely did nothing. What really matters is the best sellers of 2014(Total 2014) US sales. And none of the 3 new bundles are there. They were last updated 11/7/14.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/2014/videogames/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsar

The Sunset Overdrive bundle has been out for 2 weeks and it hasn't made it, people were making such a big deal because it was "sold out". They barely made any of the bundles because they weren't sure if it would sell.

The Call of Duty bundle which had a HUGE marketing campaign hasn't made it either and it's been a week. The Assassin's Creed Bundle hasn't made it either.

Now some of you are going to say it's only been a week or two for these, give them time. Nope.

The Destiny PS4 Bundle made it to the 2014 Best Sellers 10 days before its launch day. It's actually more than 10 days because I'm getting the numbers from a old topic from this site, and it said it made it eariler this week. By the launch date, the PS4 was at #46. It also went up to #41 in 5 days, with 5 days after the Call of Duty Bundle and it still hasn't made it to Best Sellers of 2014.

Also with the PS4 Destiny Bundle selling at a loss of $10 based on MSRP and the 3 new Xbox One bundles selling at a loss of $110(50 price drop + 60 game).

Oh yeah guys, Xbox One is definetely dominating./s

Looks like the one making a huge deal out of this actually :)
Do you believe one more thread about this topic was needed?

So... are we going to get a new thread every time the Amazon hourly sales change now?
Isn't there like one main thread for tracking this yet?

Why don't you actually read the what I wrote, it's all based off the TOTAL 2014 Best Sellers.

Did you see anyone saying it dominated for the whole year? It dominated the hourly charts for a while and still dominates the chart for November.

Sure I did.

I read almost all of those comments and I find them so funny now.

Lol. The price cut did NOTHING, despite it directly resulting in a spike in sales. Hyperbole, much? Seriously, what is it about this topic that gets everyone so worked up? Just wait until NPD, or at least Vgchartz numbers before declaring victory.

But it's in response to what happened in the hourly charts, no?

No, that part I just found funny because people were making such a big deal out of the hourly sales and I said on another topic that the hourly sales don't matter, the total 2014 best sellers do. This is a article about the 2014 best sellers, just comparing the bundles.

Also I'm not sure about a main thread pertaining to this, not one that I know of.

I am interested to see how the bundles did in November. The whole year we already know what happened.

We all know what happened for the whole year. You seem to be the only one who needed some validation.

What people are talking about is november and the hourly charts. And I do not see what is funny to you into that as it is actually true that we see some momentum for the Xbox One lately... But it makes you feel happy, good then :)

This is going to end well.
