Has anyone got a screenshot of how vgchartz looked back then? Thanks in advance.

And if it's not too much trouble, the forum? I hear about this blue background and I want to see. :)

damn that is a long time ago, not even been here a year

Congrats bud, it's a surprise to see that a majority of the users here are older. I don't post much, but I have been here for 8 years. Congrats and I look forward to your 14 years topic.

Lol, when I started VGchartz was a "reputable" (haha) site. It still is today, but this was one of the first sites that did sales for video games. The only other way to indicate if a game was doing good was NPD (also NPD wasn't that big and didn't cover the globe), Famitsu Most Wanted, or from the developers mouth. I'm sure this site put a pretty good dent on how sales for video games were done. At the height of this site, news locations (N4G and other user submitted areas) would put these articles of VGChartz up, the heat indicator would be close to the top and everyone in the comments section would be going back and forth saying it's true or it is not true. I'm never 100% sure if they are accurate, but I enjoy the statistics. I'll see you all again when GTA5 for PS4/XboxOne is released.

I was almost the first guy to sign-up. I hated giving out my email, so I held off. The next day or the day after I sign up and end up being what the 100th guy to sign up haha. So close :) This is just a guilty pleasure knowing I am the oldest member to post in this topic.

I started posting because I was upset this site didn't have Bully, GTA:LCS, or Mortal Kombat: Anniliation in the October chartz.

Congrats man!
And thanks for not leaving, the older users are the coolest.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Son of a ***** 9th guy. I have 922 posts and I have no idea what I used to talk about. I remember this site before MGS4 came out. That was a big one, it was suppose to be the PS3's biggest game and technically I would say it was. Nowhere near Halo sales on Xbox360, but it was the reason why people got the PS3 or at least the showcase people saw when choosing PS3.

I will have to use this post to determine how long I have been a member ;)

Hello World

I've been here a long time too. And I hate most of you because i'm grumpy as hell.

This typo was legendary

..

Darth used to spam threads all the time.

.

That thread was a disaster. everyone got banned. EVERYONE!

And This is the last screenshots I took for the site before moving to  "VGchartz 2.0"
