I guess that just saying it had a better start in China than in Japan was quite an understatement.
Well after conceding PS4 a head start in so many countries, getting one in such a big country will surely pay, finally we see some sensible strategy for XBOne.
Agree with those that wrote this is a very god omen for console market in general.
But let's just hope the oldest mummies in Chinese commie party don't force their country to do bad things in Hong Kong, that would be nasty for the whole world, not just gaming and other hi-tech markets.

Man people just can't accept positive XB1 news can they. 100k shipped or sold is still 100k and those people grasping at straws were the same ones saying launching in other countries wouldn't do anything for XB1 sales. Great start for China, hopefully China moves to the number 3 market behind the UK. Pretty much forget about using up a ton of resources to break ground in Japan, since they have made it clear they don't care for Xbox.

Great launch numbers! I've said it before and I'll say it again, China has the potential to become a major market in the Video Games industry.

Deceptive thread title. 100k shipped =! Sold. Unfortunately we won't get reliable numbers unless the news is good, hence the PR spin of this.

But wait... is it 100k shipped or 100k sold? I've tried to look everywhere about that, but nothing.

It's safe to say the Xb1 will be ahead of the PS4 for that week when this gets calculated in. Good start.

The Microsoft source for this clearly says 100k shipped. Which Xbox fans immediately ignored the "shipped" portion of.  See gaf thread, it's understood by the mods already. 

I did see the Gaf thread, and they were mentions of shipped hardware. I guess we'd just have to wait for more confirmation.
