So far I've been having a blast with Destiny on Ps4. Be it story/strike missions with random people I met or crucible pvp with my friends, the game is simply fun to play. 

Lost in all this new generation's expectations, people are forgetting that games are made to simply provide entertainment and be fun to play. Is Destiny perfect? By all means no. I still don't care for the actual story campaign and wouldn't be able to tell you what's going on. And Destiny  doesn't reinvent the gaming wheel by any means. 

But as a whole, if you play with friends and headsets you're going to have a great time. I absolutely love Destiny and so far it's gotten me back into the social aspect of gaming; which I really haven't enjoyed since COD4 online matches with my homies. 

So screw all the reviews. Over analyzing games is so pointless. If I were to review Destiny I'd give it somewhere between an 8 and an 8.5 on game features. 

But id also give it a 10/10 for fun factor. Which at the end of the day is the point of play video games. 

Dude, it's 2014. Having fun is no longer important when it comes to entertainment.

I just don't get why it has to be always online?

If a 7.5 wasn't fun, we would be screwed.

Shocking isn't it? The game is a tad iffy at first, but once you get into the swing of things, you find the amount of content and potential hours of gameplay to be just phenomenal. I just reached Lvl 20, and I'm only getting started. Once the add-ons start coming and the content just piles on, this game will be a phenomenal beast. This isn't me talking out of hype either. I was actually a pretty big skeptic initially, but it's grown on me quite a bit. Very good game.

Fun game... I like it as we'll, but I'm about to return my to gamefly... FPSes are REALLY getting to be boring...

I was hoping Destiny would get me to like them again... But it's just another "meh"...

You can't ignore Metacritic you whole life.

I think the distinction is clear. YOU had fun. YOU think the game is good. But in objective reality it isn't.

Same thing with my affections towards Ninety Nine Nights on the 360. I loved the game, no one else did.
