Geesh, some people are sure in a hurry to downplay this game's reviews...they're not even reading the OP to see it's for the first game XD

OT: I'm not really interested in either game, but I can see it landing in the mid-high range. It seems like it's appealing to a certain crowd. I predict the first game to score a little less this time around...but I might be wrong.

Except that this is really not an exclusive as it is out on other systems just without the nintendo costumes.

Any port is superior to the PS3 version. I have both PS3 and Xbox 360 version, and man, the framerate drops!

So, with your logic here, the game actually goes down for generation by 5 in score even though it is the same game except with optional costumes.... I fail to understand your logic here.

Nintendo Life tends to be pretty fair when it comes to their game reviews. They aren't afraid to give a lower score to a game just because its an exclusive. They gave Hyrule Warriors a 7 which is pretty much in line with what other sites gave it.
