Even though I have both consoles I have to agree with this. There are some Tomb Raider fans who still have last gen consoles who can pick up Tomb Raider cheap on the 360 though. Tomb Raider 2 wont be next gen just like the last game.

My understanding is that we don't know this at all? Last I checked the game was not confirmed for any other platforms - and the most common speculation was that it would eventually be confirmed for PC. Might it come to PS4? Perhaps. But that is far from a done deal.

And that's how Xbox wants you to remain thinking. Square can do what they want when the contract is over. Even with all the hinting at the ryse stuff. Square can do what they want once the deals up. They'll port it to the remaining systems. The question is how long is the contract for.

I don't imagine this will reflect the sales.
With the right marketing and reception, the game will sell well on the xbox one regardless. And those who are upgrading to an xbox one or ps4 during the holidays will see on which platfor tomb raider is being released and will buy it. I'm not saying they'll buy it in droves, but the deal will be effective in some regard.

if the deal for this game is like ryse and dead rising 3, like phil spencer has said , then if u wana play this game u will have to have a xbox one for play on a console. its just that simple really :)
