This year was kind of a disappointment since it's a transition year to the new generation. My favorite games of the year were infamous second son and wolfenstein the new order. Also, there's the last of us and metro redux, but these two were remastered versions of older games. I still have hope for other games such as shadow of mordor, alien isolation and the evil within.

If re-releases are included its either GTA or TLOU. Excluding them I'd bet on Far Cry 4, based on the previews.

There are some valid points in the video, but there is also so much wrong that I have no idea where to start, especially when comparing it to the previous games, selective memory at its best, even though I prefer Dark Souls 1. I'm also at work and this would take so much time.

Dark Souls  2 is goty material, there is no doubt about that.
