What about the wolf among us or The walking dead season 2?

Remasters don't qualify. Just saying,

Sorry what you think is essential and what I think is essential in a hack n slash are vastly different. GOW doesn't have as "fast-paced" combat as Bayonetta or MGR: R, but I still prefer its combat. If being fast-paced is everything, COD would be considered the best FPS series of all time. But that isn't the case. Heck you could say Dynasty Warriors has more fast-paced combat, but does that make it better? Lol no. And when did I say about GOW's combat not being fluid? It very much is, any GOW fan can tell you that, as combos can be easily chained to an extent, but not endlessly, as that would have made it too easy. I'm saying this again, that combat isn't everything in a hack and slash. And while that is subjective, you can't ignore all the other aspects of GOW that are in some cases far superior to Bayonetta. In fact, Bayonetta doesn't best GOW III in any single way. |
Yeah, no.
GOW is a garbage spam fest in comparison to Bayonetta 2. Bayo2 looks better, plays smother, deeper combat, better combat mechanics. You're not square square triangle-ing your way through most encounters in Bayonetta 2 without the game mocking you.
Subjectively: GOW story in no longer very good. I'd much rather play through a game like Bayo 2 that has a different story and doesn't take itself overly serious like comercials for GOW. Bayonetta is a better character than a douche with chains. Enemy design in Bayonetta is also more original.
It could be MK8. The pretty much turned the sales of the Wii U around by itself. It's magic.
Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

You need skill to chain combos past a certain point. I want to see you tell me this me is easy.
Are you kidding me?
Have you played Dragon Age 2?
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be as bad or even worst, mark my words.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...
SHADOW OF MORDOR
Seriously, the GOTY award may actually end up being a competition between previous year's games - TLOU and GTA5. I doubt Far Cry will have the story make it GOTY given the last game (which was still great fun, but stupid in the story department).

Yes, I have, I even said it was shit. But the fact is it can't possibly be worse than DA2 and it looks pretty good from what we've seen. They even give you the choice to pick between DA:O's combat or DA2's

Good point, it cannot be worst than DA2, that would be suicide. Well, we will see. But I will stay away from this at launch. Can not trust Bioware anymore.
