It's good as a spinoff, bad as a mainline game. Fun, but way overhyped.

The rumor says a remaster/remake and almost everybody wants a Mario or a Zelda game (that most likely already played). I AM SO SURPRISED!!!
The console needs variety not more of the same, we need to capture the customer that is not loyal to Nintendo, those already bought the console, we need to cover the HUGE hole that the lack of third party games are leaving wide open. If instead of a new game we have to settle with a remake, I really hope that is something different from Mario and Zelda, something that could interest new people on the console and not just satisfy the needs of those that already have it.

Nobody is saying we don't want new content.  But if a remake is coming, no reason not to speculate what it might be.

I think you missread me, I am not against remakes/remastered (I do prefer new games if possible) and people is free to speculate what it might be, my concern is that most people want ONLY MORE Mario and Zelda games, and what the console needs is variety.

Porting an underserved GC game onto the Wii U... like jumping from the frying pan into the fire LOL.   But yeah, whatever it is, looking forward to seeing something revealed.

And for the record, I thought ED was awesome.

But it will be cheap to do it and will interest a different audience on the console, it is the kind of risks that Nintendo should take to make more people interested on the Wii U, it is pretty clear that the gamers that wants to play Mario and Zelda are already onboard (at least most of them), but those who enjoy different kind of games could pick it up if there is some more variance that complements the wild Bayonetta 2, or the upcomming Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Well people keep going on about Majora's Mask remake being on 3DS and honestly I'd hope it would be with the shrinking lineup on the platform. Wii U might get it because of the initial trailer shown for it in HD, but if they want a rave idk if they'll remake the lowest selling console Zelda. Sunshine would probably sell more solely for the fact it's Mario and Eternal Darkness is cool but sales weren't relevant at all so my bet is it's Sunshine if anything
