As a male, i usually choose male characters. I do play with females too, but that's if i HAVE to, it just feels weird playing with one because i'm not a girl!

I never understood playing as the opposite gender when you have the choice unless that's the way you identify yourself. It always seemed weird to me otherwise.

Ha good spot. I remember I had an account for a PS fan site and one day I was browsing the forum and someone was asking a question I knew the answer to. I had made my account 5 years before and it was my first post :p

OT: I kinda like to imagine myself as the hero in games so I pick male as I'm better able to identify as that character. But I have no problem playing as a female in any game.

I actually tend to choose a female avatar most of the time. I find women to be much more interesting and much better looking than men.

Currently playing Fire Emblem: Awakening and Robin is female.

Although when presented with a relationship option (ala Skyrim or Dragon Age), I always choose the female partner. It can't helped. *shrugs*
