THIS is the comment you choose to show that people have gone far in your eyes?

I dont see anyone bashing the game itself. Its just that they dont see much of a difference.

Which opinion are they ventin here? 20 comments are repeating the vast bullshit and the same people have made the same comments 20 other times in 10 other TLOU topics. So what joke are you refering to?

Their opinion about the games upgraded 'vast improved' visuals. If they dont see that big of a difference its their right to say their opinion here. If you dont want that, why make this thread in the first place? This doesnt have anything to do with downplaying, opinions just differ from each other and on this one the general opinion seems to be negative. Just deal with it.

Why are you so angry? Deal with what? Reading the same comment in every TLOU topic from the same people? THAT'S your idea of a discussion?

Huh? Where am i angry?

Well what do you expect to read? 'Wow great ND have outdone themselves again!'? Thats not going to happen on a one year old remake.

You seem to be asking for positive feedback only, but thats never going to happen, especially not with a controversial game like this (not because of the game, but because of the early remake of course!)

Im pretty sure you knew before that this thread wont get all that much positive feedback, so i dont know why you're so surprised (atleast it seems so!).

It's more to do with the fact that this is an obvious money-grab by Sony. Instead of remaking or remastering some older games which a lot people haven't had access to in a while, they remaster a one year old game and only marginally improve on it. It gets them the most money, sure, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a dubious corporate decision.

How is that dubiuous? If it gets them the most money, then obviously it's what the most people want. How is it wrong to give their fanbase something they've been asking for? It's a big resolution and framerate increase, and it looks like an improvement to the physics as well. If you aren't interested that's fine, but it doesn't make anyone evil.

It's like the title askes if Nintendo fans like to come in and bash this game! Look at these Mario and Zelda avatars/sigs badmouth the game and all repeat the same silly sentence. And they say the website has more Sony fans!

It's hopeless to try and have a good discussion.

Now, let's all calm down here. No need for this really (personally I can't see any real difference either but it looked amazing on the PS3 anyway).

Let's all just relax and get back to the topic on hand, please! Any further comments like this one will be viewed very severly and will be moderated.

Yeah. Because being sarcastic and claiming there's no difference isn't breaking rules; generalizing fanbases is.

There's no real need for it after all.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Exactly what im thinking lol.

No one is bashing anything, its just their opinion, which is fine.

You're attacking a fanbase for stating their opinions.

Really? Are we comparing almost entirely untouched cutscenes again? :p

The right one looks a lot clearer and the textures are better defined thanks to the added clarity. That's about it. This may as well be a comparison for 720p vs 1080p, since that and the frame rate are 99% of what's been changed in the cutscenes.

Wouldn't it look AMAZING to those people and underwhelming to the 1080p "gods" then?

No because you can't see 1080p below 60 inches. Or at least that's what your blind overlords say.

You were interfering with people's freedom to troll. That kind of behavior is unacceptable.

OT: The differences are always less obvious on YT, especially when one of the biggest changes is framerate, but it does look notably better. Not sure I'll double dip though.

There has never been a remaster that wowed. Being 1080p 60fps is what matters here.

The way those ND devs were sh*tting their pants saying #OMG #TheLastOfUsPS4 #Graphics all over Twitter you would expect this to be a different situation.

Not really. It does look great. I don't expect people that are used to 720p and 792p to actually realize it though.

Ah yes, that actually explains it. They have already trained their eyes to accept those lower resolutions as the end all be all and now see anything different (even if higher) in a negative light.

Thanks jlmurph!
