Forums - Sony Discussion - Onechanbara Z2: Chaos announced for PS4

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is in development at Tamsoft for PlayStation 4, D3 Publisher announced in this week’s Famitsu.

Due out in Japan this October for 7,344 yen, the game is the first full HD 1080p entry in the series, and will run at 60 frames per second.

The game features four characters–Kagura and Saaya (both voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro), Aya (voiced by Yuko Kaida), and Saki (voiced by Nao Takamori)–which players can switch between during gameplay. It will feature a new “Cross Merge Combination Element,” which sees several characters attack at once. And it will utilize the PlayStation 4 touch pad with a new “Quick Time Kill” element, a special attack that can be used against boss enemies.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is 70-something percent complete.

Might not've gotten the big guns on PS4 yet, but the smaller stuff is already showing up in full force.

After not seeing Onechanbara on PS3 come over, I really hope this has a chance to play in full PS4 glory!

Getting it if it comes to the west.

Forget Uncharted 4, this is what I call a true system seller!

Kresnik comes out swinging today with all the news. Thank you!

Hopefully they send this over westward, digitally is good enough.

I saw some other game from the series in the Gaf thread and it looked like a pretty nice action slasher (with some Japanese flavour unfortunately) which PS4 lacks with nothing notable on the horizon since Lily Bergamo is dead. What are the chances of this coming to the West?

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Low.  I think the 360 & Wii versions didn't sell very well in the west, and D3 Publisher seem not keen on giving it a chance in the west anymore (they haven't localized the PS3 prequel to this game, for example).

S'a shame.  It's a cheap but fun series much in the same vein as D3's other staple (Earth Defence Force).

Nice. Hope we get to play it at some point in the West...though I doubt it'll come sadly.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

In this day and age they could localise and release digitally-only
