In 5 years sony will also release the nest PS, Xbox is not launching first. You also cannot just Launch when you  want, you need the publishers, developers on board....Please it's not that easy.

 

Sony and MS both will launch in 5 years. MS only launched first with 360 not because they WANTED to...PS3 got delayed remember due to issues with bluray.....Revisionist history. Sounds more like wishfull thinking on your part. MS cannot just do what they want when they want....

Are you clairvoyant? Unless you are I would not be so sure of M$ not being able to launch prior to Sony. As for the PS3 delay, 360 still would have launched ahead of it. Original PS3 release date was suppose to be Spring 06' (6 months after the Xbox 360) which it was pushed back to November due to the blurry issues. 

It is not unreasonable to believe that M$ would not attempt at least an early start along the lines of what we saw the previous gen. If theXbox One continues lacklustre sales throughout this generation, you can expect their new hardware to release alongside Nintendo's next console in 2018.

One of my favorite analogies is the PS3 being the Death Star and the 360 being the Star Destroyer. The Wii was the Millennium Falcon. Because it defied all the odds. The PS4 on the other hand, had all the odds with it. It was obvious that the PS4 was gonna take off without a hitch because of the One's questionable ideas. I will forever stress that, without the bad PR for the One, the PS4 wouldn't be so ahead. They just made a console. Nothing really special about it. The Wii was something that appealed to both the casual gamer and the people that are just curious about gaming. In perspective, the Wii sales numbers around this time of release for the PS4 were monumentally higher. Also, selling more than the other two combined? yeahno. If the Wii didn't, no chance for this to. I don't see what's so astronomically better about the PS4.

Wii also fell off a cliff after 4 years ps4 won;t and will sell longer. Pulling a dreamcast? LOL what does that make x1 and wii-u then? Ridiculous downplaying.

I'm not downplaying at all. I'm just saying the Wii had four years of success and the Dreamcast had six months. If the PS4 is really going to start selling poorly now then it's much closer to what happened to the Dreamcast.

As for Wii U and Xbox One, that'd probably make them the SEGA Saturn and the 3DO.

it was the hype that set the ps4 sales so strong a new console with great graphics and interesting games to come, now that the console is out and lacks games and graphics still very much behind pc its sales will drop over time. It will sell good no doubt but its not the true next gen gaming hardware that changes the gaming industry as we know it. Wont reach ps2 sales.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

That doesn't even make sense. The Wii left the other two in the dust, so much so, that MS and Sony never caught up despite the Wii dying down hard in the end.

The PS4 will be fine. Why does it have to outsell the Wii U and Xbone combined to proof anything?

I said "citation needed" because your claim is missing evidence. The very fact that I never mentioned you personally at all in my responses to you fails to even qualify as an argument against you. I asked for evidence and you said it was common sense, I rebutted that it was your own common sense and that you're reasoning was unclear.

Furthermore, you are suggesting I have Grandoise Delusions in asking you to back up your claims i.e you're calling me delusion because I asked for evidence, I haven't even disagreed with you yet.
