Many Gaming Sites that have YouTube channels are becoming really biased in my opinion and others as well. That being said, I wonder what it would be like to have a channel on YouTube where people can just upload their gaming videos to it. It can be divided into sections like lets plays and gaming news along with discussions.

YouTube is filled with a bunch of people who worship a certain company so ypu feel like they are really biased so you cant take their word for it. Why dont a few members of VGChartz make one Huge and Diverse gaming channel on YouTube? Think about it, different people have different opinions that should be shared about the gaming industry.

Ive always wondered if it would work. What do you think?

Will not work unless we have one person we can trust managing the whole thing. I don't see anyone like that here.

What can happen is that one person holds a thread and see who qualifies as a member of the channel. After he gets all the people he needs he messages them an email and password to the channel so that they all have access to the channel.

Seems like an amazing idea, but it's a lot harder than it sounds. Most of the major gaming sites w/ youtube channels pay professionals to do videos. If you had volunteers, it probably would look terrible and make VGChartz look unprofessional overall.

After every video we should have a vote whether to keep out or cut it out. That limits the amount of bad content. Every other week we have a vote to see if any idle people stay in the channel or not.

I am not a professional but check ooutmy first video on RivalryGaming Network on YouTube. Tbat is the type of production I would like to see.

I....I think thats called YouTube.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Gaming on YouTube is so bad. Let's Plays have to be the most annoying things ever. I hate it when they are so loud and unfunny, and calling each video an "episode" like they are making a TV show. I can't stand commentary, but if it was interesting (like their experience with the game and neat facts and a walkthrough) I can do it but 90% of it is them trying to be funny.

Also when they do "top whatever" lists and try to be funny, it comes off more as annoying. The worst offense is when they "cut off" and say something in a quiet voice and then go back to the regular voice. Ugh...

Honestly if we could get a good YouTube series that is informative but entertaining, sure. Nothing like PewDiePie though.

Well the Speed Demos Archive channel has speedruns from many different people.

Which would then run the risk of someone changing the password, stealing the channel, monatizing all of the videos, and then depositing all of the money into his or her account. There is a lot of trust involved.
