If she's only going to be watching and not playing then I would also recommend The Last of Us.

Beautiful graphics and music, a great story, and linear enough for her not to get bored by side quests or an open world with filler.

On topic, in the past, games like Peggle and Dance Central were great for getting non-gamers to participate and have a great time.  Might give one of those a try--and a great guy from this site suggested The Sims via a Twitter DM.  I have to say, I didn't even consider that but I may give it a shot!

Telltales The Walking Dead. It will make her cry, and she will need that manly shoulder of yours to cry on.

How about Minecraft, too? Just make sure you have something in mind you want to create before you set off with it. If all goes well and she has a creative mind, she might just want to play it with you. All depends on if you like Minecraft though.

In front of? Uncharted 2--hands down. (I'm pretty sure uve already played this). People just love watching this game.

Play with? Best game I know is LBP 1 & 2: low learning curve, hilarious, etc.

The walking dead, wolf among us... Something basic gameplay wise with a focus on the story. Get her involved with the details and decisions, game over.

Thanks, love expert....but she ASKED me to play a game while she watches.  I actually refused but next time she comes over, I'll play something. Probably Heavy Rain or Tomb Raider.  You've been a great help, though.


Luckily for me my gfs usually ask to watch me cooking instead, being a PC gamer I'd look so nerdy, and probably psychiatrically worrying too, if they watched me gaming!
