I feel like if they went with the style of the tech demo, it could potentially match twilight princess in sales. I really don't think it looks like a big system seller now. What do you think?

Because system sellers are determined by art style?
It's an open world console Zelda and a real one at that without any stupid gimmicks. That didn't happen in 16 years. Do you really think anyone gives a shit about the art style?
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
The lighting and particle effects look gorgeous. And it's a Legend of Zelda game, I just got Wind Waker HD, and it's a blast. Even though I love Twilight Princess.
I can't believe this is still a thing... People need to start liking games that aren't just shades of dark colors! Like jeez, you know, we are going into the era of 4k soon and one of the features that many companies are pushing is the ability to display 1 billion colors on most monitors/tvs in the future! Traditionally, most monitor/tvs display 16 million but soon enough, it will be able to display over 1 billion colors and I do not want to play more games where my monitor gets to display its shades of dark colors while leaving all the others behind

As an example, its not perfect but this is one of the first monitors to do so
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
not posting pics makes this a fail thread...

to be perfectly frank,.. i like them both. but if i had to choose i'd pick the new style. feels more unique than the old style.

Sounds terrifying.
Looks terrifying too.
"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"
I don't really care if a Zelda game has a more realistic or more colorful artstyle, as long as it looks good. And the new one definitely looks fantastic to me.

Thanks to ilustrate the OP.
I like the new artstyle even when I was whishing for something like the tech demo or Ocarina/Majora's.
I wouldn't mind of the next Zelda after this one looks like the tech demo.
