Your points are the same old argument that clueless analysts stated many times. Also, most of them are your opinion alone and millions of others do not share the same view. As for making the same games over and over, simply the same as any other developer out there. Tell me Call of Duty isn't the same. You cannot. In fact, Nintendo uses the same characters, but they at least add new ideas into the mix. Can't say the same about most 3rd party developers... all they do is improve graphics. Another fact is Nintendo has the most IPs out of any developer today. They may recycle popular series, but there is demand for their core franchises. At least they create new IPs... wii Sports, Splatoon, Pikmin, etc. These were all created at or after the Gamecube era.

6. Let me tell you what Nintendo cares about. They care about their own IPs. They make their system for their IPs. They don't really care about anything else because they know pokemon, zelda, and mario is all they need.

7. When I look at Mario games, kart, smash, pokemon etc. I see nothing new.

8. If Nintendo is going to make a new RPG game, then I hope they leave Mario out of it. Anything with Mario or Zelda is a turn off.


I don't hate Nintendo, I just don't like all the coping, and over rated games they keep printing. Those games show me nothing that compels me to buy it. Its like once I've played one, I've played them all, just like the CoD franchise, and I'm done with that series too.

What Nintendo needs to do is make more new fresh games like Xenoblade Chronicles X. Now this game.. This is a game I want.

With this post you must not like Ubisoft and Activision too. I mean Assassins Creed is already at 6 with unity coming, that's already 2 less then Mario Kart. Then you Call of Duty which is at 23 (overexaggeration), way past Mario Kart , Zelda and Super Mario franchise s.

So after I read the OP and saw your complaints about mediocre games and re-releasing the same titles over and over again, I decided to check out your profile and saw your favourite games. You listed "Final Fantasy" 13 times. Including a game that is yet to actually release (Which you mention twice). You listed games from the Killzone franchise, as well as games like White Knight Chronicles and Star Ocean.

And youre complaining about Nintendo releasing the same, mediocre games over and over again? I find this hilarious.

Is this a troll thread? Really, I'm confused. Anyway i think Nintendo games are overrated too. I like them, have some fun with them, but I just can't see the so called "nintendo difference", aka nostalgia glasses. Nintendo makes good games just like a lot of other studios out there. And of course, if you've had enough of Mario/pokemon/zelda, that are objectively very old IPs with a never changing formula, there's really no reason to buy a Nintendo home console, except xenoblade and bayonetta.

Not sure how the FF comparison is a good counter to this argument, because there's literally dozens of examples that work.
