From what I've seen, anyone that does nothing but hate on Nintendo and despises all their franchises is an enemy. It doesn't matter if they prefer another console maker, so long as they appreciate Nintendo 1st party franchises, they're an ally. If they don't hate on Nintendo but don't care about any of their franchises either, they're neutral. Regarding Microsoft and Nintendo, there's quite a few people on this site that are fans of both at once, and they're some of the most awesome users on the site. Same for Nintendo and Sony. There are just TONS of gamers that either like Nintendo the most but have one of the other two as a secondary console, or like one of the other two but have a Nintendo console as a secondary console. From what I can tell, it more or less ranks like this:

1. Sony fans/secondary Nintendo players
2. Nintendo fans/secondary Sony players
3. Microsoft fans/secondary Nintendo players
4. Pure Sony fans
5. Microsoft fans/secondary Sony players
6. Nintendo fans/secondary Microsoft players
7. Pure Microsoft fans
8. Players of all three
9. Pure Nintendo fans
10. Sony fans/secondary Microsoft players

I think number 8 would be ranked much higher if money wasn't an issue.

If we are generalizing here:
I would say the majority of Sony's fans come from other fanbases. There is also huge overlap between it and Nintendo.
MS fanbases comes from Sega or first time gamers, at least if we are talking dedicated fanbases.

The only reason why it might seem like MS fans are nicer to to Nintendo fans than Sony fans is BECAUSE OF SONY FANS! Do you know what that means? If Sony fans weren't there as a scapegoat( or whatever) then those un-lit fireworks would light up the motherfucking skies

Considering what followed the PS2, can you point out a period of time before the PS4 where Sony fans were happy about anything? Nintendo and Microsoft has always been more finacially stable then Sony, so fans have constantaly been able to fall back on that but that option doesn't exist for Sony fans. No one was able to say at least PS3 is profitable or at least Sony is a healthy company.

Not to mention how Nintendo fans treat the Vita, its been beaten to a subatomic pulp.

Let's not forget the Xbox fans were all / over PlayStation at first, but PlayStation came back at the end of last gen and ps3 won... now ps4 is picking up at the same pace, and we have to put it on xbox fans... Nintendo fans are awesome though! :)

Because Nintendo fans were never smug during the Wii era? Face it, every fanbase gets worse when they're on top. 

I don't see Microsoft fans at all, and I don't think they exist. Xbox has some brand loyalty, but Microsoft has consumers, not fans.

Diehards will spout whatever they want, but any reasonable Sony Fans would never rep Sony for most of last gen, I myself switched to PC and MultiPlat owning, then again: Shenmue/Halo/JSRF and Paper Mario/Smash/Party made it a lot easier, plus Money.
